Who am I, and why do I write?
As a journalist-turned-developer-turned-marketer, I find this saying apt to describe why I love to write: “I write because I don’t know what I think until I read what I say.”—Flannery O’Connor. My day job is as a CMO at a tech company based in Silicon Valley.
What kind of articles do I write about?
My articles fall under three broad categories –
1) intersection of marketing and technology, (Examples -The parrotfish principle of marketing, How to build a demand gen campaign)
2) my views and how-tos on technology subjects like Databases, AI, gadgets, (Databases 2.0, How to build next gen of AI apps) and
3) my life experiences (Examples, This is going to be hard, Davos Diaries).
What makes me an expert in these subjects?
I like to think of myself as a learning junkie, and having worked in the tech industry for 20+ years, I believe I have a unique perspective on learnings through experimentation over the years. My goal is to share these learnings with others.
What is the common theme across all my articles?
I believe the six most powerful words in the world are, “Let me tell you a story.” Stories bring humans together and are what make us different from other species. I like to live and write stories that happen to me. Through my writing, I hope to make connections with other humans and share learnings that amplify our abilities and make us more human.
